Gifu Prefecture in Japan presents its first UK exhibition of Japanese Mino washi paper at The Proud Archivist, London. The exhibition will display some of the finest contemporary uses of Mino washi paper whilst exploring the tradition and craft of this classic Japanese material.
The exhibition will feature works by American-Japanese artist Isamu Noguchi and Swiss design studio Atelier Oï, among others.
Paper products will be available to purchase on site throughout the exhibition period.
On Tuesday 3 November, there will be interactive workshops for the general public to participate.
The Proud Archivist is located by Regent’s Canal, access via Kingsland Bridge E8 4DD.
