Mikiko Maedomari comes from the small but beautiful island of Ishigaki, part of Okinawa prefecture in the deep south of Japan.  She used to teach at junior high school in Japan, but moved over to England to live with her British husband.  She is now a qualified Japanese teacher and enjoying life living in London!

Before becoming a teacher Mikiko studied music in Japan and the USA.  She was a trumpet player in the marching band at college and still loves music.  Mikiko also practices traditional Okinawan dancing and is looking forward to meeting you!
