Naomi Takahata is a native Japanese teacher who is passionate about languages. At university in Japan, she studied German as well as English. After graduation, she competed an intensive course to become a Japanese teacher.

Naomi came to the UK 4 years ago to study English and eventually completed MA in translation at Newcastle university.  "I have experience of teaching Japanese both in Japan and the UK. Teaching Japanese is fun for me!  I teach Japanese cultures and Japanese life along with Japanese language." she says.

Her hobbies include watching films, writing blogs, taking photos and travelling abroad. She has been to nearly 20 countries.
