SHIFT Presents: DOTMOV Festival 2016 @ The Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation | London | England | United Kingdom

Japanese online magazine SHIFT presents the DOTMOV Festival 2016, premiering in the UK at the Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation. We will be screening a selection of short films to showcase emerging international talent in film and the visual arts.

DOTMOV is a digital film festival which aims to discover gifted filmmakers who are as yet unknown, providing them with an opportunity to exhibit their works on the global stage. This year, the festival received 186 submissions from 13 countries; SHIFT’s international panel of guest judges have chosen the 14 best works to be screened at DOTMOV 2016.

Featured films include: “Controller of Controller”, directed by Densuke 28 (https://vimeo.com/167089601) and “Serph – feather (overdrive version)”, directed by Tarafu Otani (https://youtu.be/S4TYELJzTqI).

This year’s festival will take place in several venues throughout the world during Autumn 2016. Join us for the UK premiere of DOTMOV 2016 to explore the possibilities and potential of a new generation of digital artists.

SHIFT is an online magazine based in Sapporo City, Hokkaido. Specialising in culture and the creative industries, they focus on aspects of art, design, fashion, music and multimedia. The magazine provides a variety of in-depth articles, such as interviews, exhibition reports and publication reviews.
