‘Studio Ghibli Forever’ Film Festival & New Film: ‘When Marnie Was There’

Picturehouse Cinemas and STUDIOCANAL present a sweeping season of Studio Ghibli from its humble beginnings in 1984 with Nausicaä Of The Valley Of The Wind to its most recent masterpiece, The Tale Of The Princess Kaguya.

To celebrate the final film from the visionary Japanese animation house – When Marnie Was There – on Friday 10th June, Studio Ghibli Forever will run at selected Picturehouse cinemas across the UK, showing twelve classic Studio Ghibli movies from April 29th – 22nd July 2016.

The following films have been selected to show throughout the summer period: The Tale of Princess Kaguya, The Wind Rises, Ponyo, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, My Neighbour Totoro, Grave of the Fireflies, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Only Yesterday, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind and Laputa in the Sky.
