Urban Food Fest and leading Japanese premium lager Asahi Super Dry have partnered to bring you a Japanese influenced street food market and invites you to experience life in slow motion with the showcasing of the Asahi branded super slow motion video booth, where one sip of beer can last for up to half a minute!
The Asahi super slow motion video booth is constructed from over 1,500 intricate metal rings and features an ultra-slow motion camera, the booth is in the shape of an Asahi pint glass. On entering the booth, guests will experience a jet of compressed air propelled into their faces, recreating the crisp and refreshing quality of Asahi Super Dry, and 100 ping-pong balls will be launched two metres into the air from a secret trap door. This effect is designed to make guests feel like they are literally inside a pint of Asahi!
Come and experience the booth and sample Asahi Super Dry and Asahi Super Dry Black, the only lagers being served at our main bar. An Asian inspired street food market, decorated with Asahi branded bunting and lanterns, will be serving mouth-watering Asian specialities such as Oriental Gyoza, Taiwanese Bao Buns and Japanese Sushi Rolls. We’ll of course have an incredible array of global street food trucks and stalls, including Asian inspired handmade vegetarian falafel with hummus & halloumi in a soft tortilla with deli pickles and salsa, and for something sweet you can indulge in glorious triple stacked sponge cakes and gooey melt in the middle brownies.
Not only will Asahi Super Dry be available all night, you can also enjoy our bespoke bar offering craft ales and ciders, premium wines, alongside themed cocktails including “Japanese Beaut” spiced rum, apple & mint palm juice & our exclusive “Asahi Black” – Asahi Dry Black, bourbon, lemonade and a squeeze of lime.
